Can I check out a laptop?

Laptops are available for checkout to KCC students, TRIO students, and staff/faculty.
The library has laptops available for use in the library only, as well as some available for check-out to take home. In library use laptops can be checked out for four hours with renewal, but must be returned before leaving the library. Laptops for home use can be checked out for eight weeks, with one renewal permitted. The final due date will be at the end of the current term, even if it is not a full eight weeks. All home use laptops must be returned at the end of each term.
KCC borrowers must be currently registered for one or more classes and show their valid KCC ID card. The TRIO students' ID card must have a current TRIO sticker. A copy of the equipment user agreement must be completed for each check out.
Students must save their files or documents to their own flash drive. Flash drives are not provided by the library, but can be purchased in the college bookstore. Files saved onto the laptop's hard drive will be removed after the computer is checked in.
