I have a citation for an article or the title of a journal or magazine. How can I see if we have access to that article or publication?
Answer
Use the Journal Title Quick Search box below to search across all of our databases for the title of the publication. This should be the magazine or journal name (1), NOT the name of the article you're looking for.
If KCC has access to that publication, you'll either be directed straight to the main page for the publication, or to a list of possible publications to choose from. Clicking on a publication title will direct you to the page for the publication, and scrolling down will show you which database it's in, as well as the years of coverage.
Click that link to go to the publication. Now you can narrow down to your specific article one piece of information at a time. In most databases, you'll likely need the date (2) next, then the volume/issue (3) numbers, then article title (4)/page numbers (5). You can also check at the publication main page for an option to 'search within this publication' and then put in your article title or some keywords.
If no results are returned, you can use interlibrary loan to request a copy of the article from another school.
