Can I read EBSCO articles in another language?

Answer

In EBSCO databases, including Academic Search Complete, users can translate the online (HTML) full text versions of articles. When viewing Online Full Text in the new EBSCO user interfaces, you can translate the full text of these articles from English to one of over 110 available languages.

Once you've found an article to read in an EBSCO database, in the results list click the Access Options button for the desired article and select Online Full Text from the drop-down menu.

Click the Translate icon in the toolbar at the top of the Online Full Text viewer. It looks like a globe.

Click the Translate to drop-down menu and select a language, for example Español.

The automatically translated article is displayed. Click the Original language button to switch the translated article back to the original language.

Note: At the moment, only the Online Full Text (HTML) versions of articles can be automatically translated using this feature.
