How can I prove to my professor that I came to tutoring?

Answer

Many professors will require that you come to tutoring to look over a specific assignment, or even offer extra credit for visiting tutoring. We will not automatically let your professor know you used Tutoring Services, and some professors will require specific proof, so be sure to look over your instructions to ensure you have received what you need.

For in-person visits, we can provide a signed note stating when you visited and what we discussed, or we can sign a printed copy of your paper.

For online submissions, you can use the email reply you receive as proof of using tutoring. Depending on your professor's expectations, you can either submit a screenshot of the email or forward the email directly to the professor's email address. Please be sure that your email address is accurate when you submit your paper for review so that you will receive your feedback.

Professors are also capable of running reports to see which of their students have visited tutoring based on our sign-in system. Please make sure to sign in and out at the computer near the front desk so that those records are accurate.
